Cosmic Cacao Cake

This is a versatile raw chocolate cake recipe which you can vary it with any nut or seed to replace the sesame. Feel free to get creative and add any of your favourite flavourings such as peppermint, orange, cinnamon or vanilla.


  • 250g sesame seeds
  • 250g Naturya Cacao Nibs
  • 200g Naturya Lucuma powder
  • 90g coconut sugar
  • 250ml water
  • 2 avocados
  • 30g Naturya Cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 250g seasonal fruits


  • Grind the sesame seeds up in a high power blender or grinder
  • Transfer them to a large mixing bowl
  • Grind the Cacao Nibs up in the same way and add to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients
  • Add the Lucuma powder and coconut sugar. Stir until all is evenly mixed
  • Pour in the water and stir it in so you have a thick cookie mixture
  • Spoon it into a cake tin and pop in the fridge to set for three hours
  • Once it’s ready, you can make your icing
  • Peel the avocados, spoon out the flesh and put them in the blender
  • Add the Cacao powder, agave nectar and blend it all together to a cream
  • Spoon over the top and sides of the cake, so it covers the whole cake evenly
  • Decorate the top with seasonal fruit of your choice
