Vegan Chocolate & Berry French Toast

Discover the best french toast recipe ever! Incredibly quick & simple to make, comforting and rich, you won't believe that this delicious breakfast option is also vegan and a great source of fibre from our new organic Chia+ blend, as well as copper from our crunchy Cacao& Hazelnut spread to support energy and immunity.

Ingredients

  • 130ml plant-based milk alternative
  • 2 tbsp of Naturya Chocolate Chia+
  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp Naturya Coconut sugar
  • 6 thick slices of day old bread
  • Naturya Coconut Oil for frying
  • Naturya Cacao & Hazelnut Spread
  • Mixed berries to garnish

Method

In a large bowl, mix together the plant-based milk, Naturya Chia+ Chocolate, Naturya Coconut Sugar, cinnamon and the salt. 

Dip the bread in the mix and wipe off any excess. 

Add the Naturya Coconut Oil to a large non-stick frying pan, and gently fry each slice of bread on both sides until crisp.  

Stack with crunchy Cacao & Hazelnut spread in-between slices and garnish with fresh berries.
