How do I use it?

Quality & Provenance

Goldenberries originated in the Andes and are also known as Incan berries, physalis and cape gooseberries amongst others. We source the best quality Peruvian goldenberries grown sustainably by indigenous farmers. When the berries reach optimum ripeness, they are hand harvested and closely monitored during the drying process to ensure that the berries retain as much of their original flavour and nutritional value as possible.

Why are they good for me?

  1. Lower sugar alternative to raisins. Raisins contain 59g total sugars per 100g vs. goldenberries which contain 38g total sugars per 100g
  2. These little yellow berries are naturally high in fibre
  3. Rich source of thiamine (vitamin B1) which contributes to the normal function of the heart
  4. Contains potassium which contributes to normal muscle function
  5. Source of vitamin K which contributes to the maintenance of normal bones
